It has been warned that the demolition of resorts at Munnar will adversely affect the tourist inflow to Kerala in the next season.The Federation of Kerala Tourism Promoters in Europe,an organization based in Germany which comprises tourist operators,journalists and travel agents engaged in the promotion of Kerala tourism in European countries said that many of the advanced bookings for the next season  have already been cancelled.
The Munnar demolition process has got wide publicity in the foreign media and the foreign tourists have become nervous, as per the reports.According to Thomas Pazhamannil,a tour operator based at Koln in , if the present trend prevails,the number of tourists from alone will be reduced by 10,000 next season.
